Value Analysis
Our team-based Value Analysis Management System strives for Continuous Process Improvement (CPI). Teams review all plant and
production areas for process cost, reliability and repeatability. Our goal is to achieve widespread consistency throughout
the organization improving products, streamlining processes, reducing costs and eliminating waste. In addition to design
and pre-build analysis, Siegel-Robert Automotive applies VA to the entire production process. We consider other factors
that may lead to cost reduction, including: physical changes to the component or packaging, safety improvements, reduced
energy usage and capital equipment investments, to name but a few.

Value Engineering
At Siegel-Robert Automotive, we look for every opportunity to improve the quality of our products while controlling costs.
Value Engineering provides opportunity to reduce costs at the design stage. Our engineers identify problematic areas before
any capital commitments have been made, thus reducing production costs.

ensures communication within a company as well as between companies and their customers. The APQP System is fully utilized
by engaging both corporate and plant management ensuring the successful launch of new products.
Other benefits of APQP include:
› Encourages pre-development planning
› Aligns resources for successful product launches
› Identifies required changes early in the production process
› Provides a quality product on time
› Increases ability to cut production costs
› Addresses potential problems in design and early manufacturing phases
